I’d like to shine the spotlight on our very first fundraising partnership! Jump Kids Health is a outpatient mental health, nutrition, and fun-fitness network. Our mission is to reverse ACEs and combat childhood obesity through competitive jump rope and other fun fitness activities. Our vision is to clinically treat our youth so that they may blossom into future leaders.
Wrapping Our Ropes Around ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) & Childhood Obesity
Jump Kids Wellness Group is a nutrition, mental health, and exercise network that focuses on the overall well-being of children. Our wellness group takes an integrated approach to educating students on healthy living and providing clinical care through nutritional counseling, mental health therapy, and “fun-fitness” classes such as double dutch, karate, and yoga.
Jump Kids Health’s Mental Health Program focuses on conflict resolution, bullying, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, body image, stress and feelings caused by being overweight, and more.
Our nutrition program treat children who may suffer from eating disorders, food allergies and intolerances, IBS and functional stomach issues, PCOS, prediabetes, high cholesterol, among many others
Jump Kids is also a preventive treatment center for children and adolescents who may not be suffering from the above illnesses but wish to engage in fun activities to maintain their health.
Without further ado, we’d like to introduce you to the one and only Laila Little, better known as “The Double Dutch Queen”.
Mrs. Laila Little-Omosawe is Internationally known in the sport of Double Dutch for over twenty-five years and is recognized all over the world for her many accomplishments. She is also the co-founder of the world-renowned FloydLittle’s Double Dutch where she earned her name “The Double Dutch Queen”
Mrs. Little-Omosawe co-starred on Lifetime’s Docu-series “Jump” and has been featured in several broadcastings such as Good Morning America, Dr. Oz, Kids Say the Darndest Things, invited to the White House (Obama Administration), and many more. She is ranked the 17th most influential coach by Coachseek having touched the lives of over 15,000 youth around the globe including Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, Guyana, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and nearly every state in the US. Realizing that her double dutch programs were doing more than winning competitions, she was inspired to establish Jump Kids as a platform to treat children: physically, emotionally, and mentally with a focus on ACEs and Childhood Obesity. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Ms. Little understands the catastrophic impact of poverty, dysfunctional homes, crime, poor education and the lack of therapeutic and psychological help has on the underprivileged.

More often than not, the fundraisers that are presented to our children to promote throughout our communities, go directly against the ailments affecting the people in those same communities. Many of the fundraisers promote sweets that are overly saturated with sugar and high fructose corn syrup, which are direct causes of diabetes and are more addictive than opioids. With that said Pea Shoots has decided to start our very own Healthy Snacks Fundraiser. Our goal is to partner with institutions looking to promote healthy eating and lifestyles to children in overlooked communities all over the United States and beyond.
Pea Shoots will donate 20% of all proceeds to any institution that is willing to partner with us and bring awareness to our much-needed healthy snacks fundraiser.
All of our healthy snacks are made with no sugar, artificial sweeteners, or flavoring, yet they are simply delicious. Each bite is organically grown and infused with N.I.C.E.’s locally sourced honey (out of East Orange, NJ) and sealed with love. Our flavor combinations will absolutely drive your tastebuds insane, all while promoting healthy eating.
I challenge you to think outside the box and take into consideration the benefits of healthy snack fundraisers vs the ones currently being offered to our youth.
